Christina Shades-Hayes MA, PGCM, BA (Hons)

Counselling

Chrissy completed a Master’s Degree with the Relate Institute and works with individuals, couples, families and teenagers.

She is passionate about providing a supportive space for people to work through any difficulties they may be facing, and she approaches her work with an empathic and non-judgemental perspective.

There are a whole range of difficulties that bring people to counselling, from a major crisis or traumatic event, to an ongoing issue that a person may be struggling to resolve on their own.
Family and friends are often a great source of support and advice, however, sharing your difficulties with someone who is not emotionally involved in your situation and who is dedicated to actively listening to your individual perspective, can be an empowering experience and can provide the space you need to determine how to move forward positively.

Chrissy has worked with many issues such as, depression, anxiety, self-harm, bereavement, the break-up of a relationship, family relationships and various medical conditions to name but a few!
